# `payload_too_large`

**Status 413.** The request body is larger than this endpoint accepts.

## What it means

The request body is over 4,096 bytes, or 32,768 for a programme, reward or offer change. `max_bytes` says which. Nothing was changed.

## What to do

Send only the fields the call takes: a points change takes `delta_points` and `reason`, a cancel takes `ref`, and a webhook endpoint takes `url`, `event_types` and `description`.

## Safe to send again?

Not as it is. Change what the answer points to, then send the request.
