Matrix Rewards has two plans, priced as listed on the Shopify App Store in US dollars. Free: 200 orders a month that earn points. Multi-Store Wallet: $79 a month after a 14-day free trial, for merchants with more than one store. The meter counts only orders that earned points.

200 orders a month that earn points.
Points on paid orders. Install seeds a working programme: 1 point per unit of your store's currency, one reward, and referrals on.
Rewards at a value you set, each one a single-use discount code for checkout.
Both shopper surfaces: the storefront blocks and the Rewards page in the shopper’s account.
All seven merchant screens: Home, Set up, Members, Programme, Design, Reports and API keys.
Refund claw-back, never more than the order earned.
Optional points expiry, and optional welcome and birthday bonuses. All off until you switch them on.
The meter counts only the orders that earned points.
What the 200 a month means
An order counts when it is paid and earned points.
An order that was placed but earned no points does not count.
Refunds do not count.
Redemptions do not count.
A store that installs and switches nothing on is metered at zero. Your Home screen shows this month’s count.

A 14-day free trial
The Multi-Store Wallet starts with 14 days free. The Free plan has no trial because there is nothing to pay for.
Change or cancel any time
From the app’s Home screen, choose “View or change your plan”. Uninstalling the app also ends the plan.

Before you install
Do I have to set anything up before points start?
No. Install seeds a working programme: 1 point per unit of your store's currency, one reward, and referrals on (300 points to a new customer, 200 to whoever invited them, on a first order of 15 or more). Set up will then suggest rates and rewards for your kind of store, with the reasoning, and you can change either whenever you like.
What happens to points when I refund an order?
A refund takes points back by the same rules that gave them, and never more than that order earned. Refunds are not counted on the meter.
I run one store. Do I need the wallet?
No. The Multi-Store Wallet is for merchants with more than one store. Start on the Free plan and add the wallet if a second store needs it.
How much does a loyalty programme cost?
Ours costs nothing until you need the wallet: the Free plan covers 200 orders a month that earn points, and the Multi-Store Wallet is $79 a month after a 14-day free trial. The other cost of any points programme is the points themselves — what you owe shoppers — and Reports shows that figure at all times.
Do points expire?
Not unless you switch expiry on. When you do, the shortest period allowed is 12 months. Every balance is recounted from the whole history each time it is shown, never nudged up or down.
